About Akari (Light Up)
Akari — also called Light Up — is a logic puzzle on a grid of white cells and black walls. Place light bulbs on white cells so the whole board is illuminated. A bulb lights its row and column until blocked by a wall, and no bulb may shine on another.
How to play
- Place bulbs so every white cell is lit.
- A bulb lights all cells in its row and column up to the nearest wall.
- No two bulbs may light each other.
- A numbered wall must touch exactly that many bulbs on its sides.
Tips & strategy
- Start with numbered walls that force bulb positions (0s and 4s).
- Find cells that only one bulb can reach.
