About Kakuro
Kakuro is a cross-sum logic puzzle — like a numeric crossword. Fill each horizontal and vertical run of white cells with digits 1–9 so the run sums to the clue, and never repeat a digit within the same run.
How to play
- Each clue gives the sum of the run of white cells to its right or below.
- Use digits 1–9 only; no digit repeats within a single run.
- Cells belong to both a horizontal and a vertical run — both must be satisfied.
Tips & strategy
- Learn "magic" sums with only one combination (e.g. 3 in two cells = 1+2).
- Cross-reference horizontal and vertical runs to pin digits.
