About Nonogram (Picross)
Nonograms — also called Picross or Griddlers — are picture logic puzzles. Numbers beside each row and column tell you the lengths of the filled blocks. Use logic to colour the right cells and a hidden pixel-art picture emerges.
How to play
- Each clue lists the runs of filled cells in that row or column, in order.
- A gap of at least one empty cell separates consecutive runs.
- Mark cells you know are empty with an X to narrow options.
- Finish all rows and columns to reveal the picture.
Tips & strategy
- Start with the largest numbers — they leave the fewest positions.
- Overlap technique: fill cells that must be filled in every possible placement.
- Alternate between rows and columns as you confirm cells.
