About Futoshiki
Futoshiki ("not equal") is a Latin-square logic puzzle. Fill an N×N grid so each row and column contains every number from 1 to N exactly once, while obeying the inequality signs placed between some cells.
How to play
- Each row and column uses the numbers 1…N exactly once.
- Every "<" or ">" sign between two cells must hold true.
- Use the given numbers and signs to deduce the rest.
Tips & strategy
- A chain of inequalities limits the possible values sharply.
- The cell at the "big" end of many signs is often N.
