About Hashi (Bridges)
Hashi (Hashiwokakero, "Bridges") connects numbered islands with bridges. Each island’s number says how many bridges touch it. Bridges run straight horizontally or vertically, at most two between a pair, never crossing — and every island must end up connected into one network.
How to play
- Draw bridges between islands horizontally or vertically.
- At most two bridges connect any pair of islands.
- Bridges never cross each other.
- Each island’s bridge count equals its number; all islands link into one group.
Tips & strategy
- An island showing the max for its neighbours forces double bridges.
- Keep the network connected — avoid closing off a sub-group early.
