About Hitori
Hitori is a shading logic puzzle. Starting from a filled grid, shade out cells so that no number appears more than once in any row or column. Shaded cells may not be orthogonally adjacent, and all remaining unshaded cells must form one connected area.
How to play
- No unshaded number repeats within a row or a column.
- Shaded cells never touch each other horizontally or vertically.
- All unshaded cells remain connected in a single group.
Tips & strategy
- A number between two equal numbers must stay unshaded.
- Shading a cell forces its neighbours to stay unshaded.
